The consultative group on international agricultural research (CGIAR) and the International Seed Federation (ISF) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to address low agricultural productivity and limited access to quality seed in many countries. The partnership aims to enhance agricultural productivity by providing solutions to seed sector issues, including seed regulatory and policy frameworks. It also focuses on improving seed delivery to smallholder farmers through subregional harmonized seed regulatory programs. The collaboration between CGIAR and ISF will contribute to global agricultural productivity and food security.
