To tackle emerging threats of GNSS jamming and spoofing in airspace, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) released an advisory circular. The circular highlights areas where GNSS interference has been observed, its impact on aircraft and ground-based systems, and provides mitigation measures. It establishes roles and responsibilities for stakeholders, including aircraft operators and air navigation service providers. The circular also calls for the development of contingency procedures, risk assessments, and the establishment of a Threat monitoring and Analysis network.
