'21 of our ships protecting international shipping': EAM Jaishankar on India's growing stature in world amid tensions in Red Sea

On Monday, external affairs minister S Jaishankar emphasized that India's significant deployment of naval vessels to protect shipping routes amidst Houthi attacks in the Red Sea has bolstered India's global standing. Jaishankar pointed out that currently, there are 21 Indian Navy ships stationed in the region, actively ensuring the security of vital international shipping lanes and reducing trade costs.
